News Update Jan 10, 2004

Well the album has been out for a couple of months now.  I am very pleased with the feedback I have received so far.  Twelve Stone Two has been getting regular airplay on the weekend traditional shows of Kixx, OZ-FM and VOCM.  I haven't heard any tracks on Radio Newfoundland which I listen to regularly but I could have missed it.  I did an interview with Sam Whiffen on Kixx in November and one with Monica KIdd on CBC Radio in January.

In December I received a beautiful letter from Christy Moore. You can read it here.

The film which we made when we recorded the album is not ready yet. Hopefully Vince and Louis will finish it soon.  Perhaps I will plan another trip to Cape Pine for an initial screening.

I was home in St. Shotts for a few days during Christmas. Harold Finlay, a great local singer with an even greater memory, sang Hush oh Bye Baby, one of my Grandfather's songs, for me at his home.

Thanks to everyone who have sent e-mails. I enjoy hearing what people think of the album.

I have added a few pages to the site along with some more pictures.
